A 16-foot x 24-foot cabin off the grid with views over Elizabethtown and Giant Mountain. The walls are splayed out 10 degrees off plumb. A dovetail and wedged tenon joint was chosen for the tie-beam to post joinery for its ability to resist the increased tension of the splayed walls. As seen in the photos, all window and door framing was added after the frame was raised.
